“This body of 50 small paintings has largely been informed by my feelings and experiences throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic and the challenges of 2020 and 2021. It has helped distil some of the questions that I have been trying to answer through my artwork. With echoes of my continuing inspirations from the colours and forms of my surroundings, these paintings explore a tumultuous journey of loss, love, separation and duty; light in the dark and hope and balance in the face of adversity. I hope that these paintings can bring joy, colour and hope to as many people as possible.”
